Private fee-dig fossil quarry in the Green River Formation (formerly Warfield Fossils). Split shale to find 52-million-year-old Eocene fish including Knightia, Diplomystus, Mioplosus, and Phareodus. Rare finds include stingrays, gars, and turtles. All tools provided. Staff guides help with technique. You keep everything you find (except specimens valued over $100k). Open May 9 - Sept 30, 7 days a week, 8am-5pm. Reservations not required. Run by FossilEra.
