Dumpling Run Fossil Site (Brake)

Outcrops of the Port Jervis Limestone along Dumpling Run creek about 0.86 miles west of the town of Brake in Hardy County. Contains abundant Devonian Era marine fossils including brachiopods and crinoids. The creek bed and adjacent exposures yield quality specimens. Free public access â collect from surface material.
