Fee-dig ranch near Alpine in the Big Bend region. Very easy terrain, great for families and people with mobility concerns. Lots of smaller agate pieces (under orange size) and some larger ones up to Volkswagen-sized. Agate and jasper in reds, oranges, yellows, browns, greens, pinks, and blue background. Chalcedony nodules in blue-gray, white, yellow, carnelian, pink. Also geodes and individual quartz crystals. Half-day hunts available. Club membership (Rollin' Rock Club, $10/yr) required for insurance. Cash or check only, no credit cards.
