Fee-dig ranch about 100 miles from Alpine in the Big Bend region. A full square mile (640 acres) of amazing geology in the Sierra Aguja range. Jumble of sedimentary and volcanic layers. Known for 'Pom Pom' agate with yellow saginite bursts and green moss on clear background. Duck Foot Hill features five forms of quartz in one place: agate, jasper, chert/flint, petrified wood, quartzite, and quartz crystals. Very rough terrain, 4WD recommended. Cash or check only, no credit cards. Club membership required.
