Valley Quarry - Gettysburg

Working quarry along Rt. 97 about 0.5 mile west of Rt. 15 near Gettysburg. Popular collecting site producing various copper minerals (bornite, chalcocite, chrysocolla, native copper) and zeolites (stilbite, heulandite, chabazite). Also yields epidote and andradite garnet. Open for collecting to groups and clubs by appointment only.
