Active paleontological dig site and public park in Prince George's County preserving Early Cretaceous fossils (110 million years old). Free Open House programs on the first and third Saturdays of each month where visitors surface-collect fossils with paleontologist guidance. Paid Dig Day experiences ($10 residents/$13 non-residents) allow hands-on excavation. Home to Astrodon johnstoni (MD state dinosaur), ornithomimids, nodosaurs, and giant theropods. Playground and picnic areas available daily.
