Kazumura Cave is the world's longest lava tube at 42.5 miles, located on the Big Island near Volcano. Guided tours explore this master lava tube with canyon-like passages, lava falls, and frozen lava lakes. Three tours available: Lava Falls (2hr, $60), Pit Room (4hr, $120), and Maze (4-6hr, $140, experienced cavers only). All tours are by reservation only. Visitors see delicate gypsum crystals, lavacicles, straws, and dribble spires. NOTE: Collecting is strictly prohibited. This is a geological sightseeing attraction, not a collecting site.
