Shallow coastal creek in Sussex County. Quartz pebbles, jasper, and chalcedony specimens wash down from Piedmont sources and concentrate in alluvial deposits. Also known for Pleistocene marine fossils. Flat terrain with shallow water makes this excellent for beginners and families.
